This is the most darling little child's bonnet dating to the 1920's. I was given a verbal provenance with this piece that it once belonged to Lucilla Blow who was born in 1915 and was the daughter of the famous Arts and Crafts Architect Detmar Jellings Blow. The bonnet is adorable and is made from silver metallic lace and lined with pink cotton. At either side there are little satin buds with hanging silver lamé and pink satin ribbons. The ribbons are present one side but only one pink satin ribbon remains the other side. I cannot see any breaks to the silver metallic lace and the piece is in good vintage condition aside from some slight age related wear. A gorgeous piece, perfect for display.
