These are a pair of original 1930's showgirl feathers. They originally were designed to be worn on the shoulders and the original fastenings still remain. They are turquoise and white feathers arranged in a fan shape and covered with silver sequins. The piece that fastened them to the costume is also covered in silver sequins. They do have some thinning with age and they both shed some small feathers but nothing terrible. I have had them displayed with my 1920's wax mannequins, and they also look lovely as a display behind on a table. Considering they date from the 1930's I would say they are in good vintage condition and perfect for the collector of theatre and dance costume. Each fan measures approximately 24 inches.
