This is a beautiful original Edwardian Under bust corset dating to around 1910. The corset is made from cotton coutil fabric which was widely used in the making of them due to its strength. The corset is boned and has two suspenders with their original pink ribbon bows on them. I think the corset was originally a very pale pink but this has faded. It is finished with a border of cotton lace around the top which does have a little wear to it. All the closures are intact and the pale pink lacing looks to be the original. The inside of the corset has some pinky marks and also a cotton label which looks to be the original label but is very faded and hard to read. There are two names written in a very neat hand on the label, Miss Lewis and Miss Bucknelle. The corset is a lovely piece for display and is in overall very good antique condition.
