This is a lovely theatre wig made in the 18th century style and was probably used in a production set at that time. The wig is made up of curls held with pins, some of which are loose. It has long tendrils of hair that hang down over the wearers shoulders and back. I have shown it here on my 18th century mannequin to give you an idea of what it looks like. The red velvet millinery rose is not original to it but I will include it as part of the sale. The wig is in good vintage condition inside and has an original label which I have photographed. A lovely piece for display or for a mannequin to wear. Please note my mannequin is not for sale.
