These rare ladies' side lacing half boots are made of the softest kid leather and have silk binding, gently rounded toes, a lightly polished linen lining and grommet-less holes on the side for lacing over a separate, square-topped tongue. the shoes are presented as they were found - Replaced lacing. England ca. 1840. very decorative piece.

Condition: generally good and original condition, very soft leather, the white leather got a little dirty due the age.
