A beautifully preserved mezzotint after Jan van Huysum's still-life, it is entitled in the heraldic lower text "A Fruit Piece" and was published in 1781 by John Boydell. The engraving itself was executed by Richard Earlom and is beautifully expressed with a high degree of technical superiority. It remains in very fine condition.
