A fine vintage tray table from the third quarter of the 20th century, the form is simple and effective with heavy stacks of iron rods gathered within welded rings and stretched by an X-form. The rounded metal ends and round rings with a warm gold gilding bring a softened aesthetic to the hard and cold material. A removable rectangular wooden tray with inset corners is of very good quality with gilt stenciling around the border. The table is unusually heavy and well crafted. It makes a quite powerful accent piece for the living spaces.
