A most attractive contemporary two-tier stand from the last quarter of the 20th century, this little accent table is a delightful little decorator piece. The flamed matched mahogany veneers create a diamond pattern in the top surrounded by light and dark stringer inlay. But the legs are what drew us to the table, the solid brass with a simple shape and flared profile that was quite interesting. It melds wonderfully with both the modern and traditional interior, balancing austere lines with rich material.

Condition Report: Small veneer patch with wax along edge of the top, old scuffs and blemishes to mahogany veneers, spots of minor chipping; tarnish to the brass.
