An interesting piece of remarkable quality, this is clearly a work designed by Jeffrey Bigelow, though unsigned. It is constructed of cast lucite panels with a faceted body set into the brass base with screws, the tops with a tiny round slip pad (one absent) that halt any sliding in the glass. This is a thick glass top with a beveled edge and lightly rounded corners, overall remaining in very good condition despite some light scuffs. The brass base has been only lightly cleaned and waxed in the shop so that the oxidized patina remains, but we can also buff this to a high shine if preferred.
Measurements: 48” W x 48” D x 16 1/8” H
Condition Report: Minor wear/scuff to lucite, one pillar with the slip pad absent; glass in excellent condition with a few very light scuffs. Brass oxidized with minor scuffs, though we can have it polished upon request.
