Nice small porcelain cylinder vase with a charming hand painted scene of abbey ruins and with a large gilt flower on the reverse side. Probably mid 19th century English. Unmarked. Possibly an early souvenir piece. Excellent quality to the painting & gilding. Stands 3 3/4" tall. In excellent condition with some wear to the gilt trim top & bottom, no chips, crazing or losses to the painting. There are a couple of fine line visible on the bottom in the interior, one of which shows through faintly on the base. Rings when tapped.
