5 art glass vases from Kosta Boda made by Bertil Vallien from the Rainbow line. Vallien (b.1938) is one of the world's leading glass sculptors. He also designed many popular lines of art glass for Kosta Boda as well as stemware beginning in the 1960s. These five vases from the Rainbow line date to circa 1982. There are 3 large and one small moon vases and a flattened cylinder vase. The large vases are 5 1/2" tall by 6" wide. 2 bear Boda labels label and 1 has a paper label from Copenhagen art & design store Illums Bolighus. The moon vases are signed: Kosta Boda B VALLIEN 48224. The cylinder vase is the same but design # 48225. All are in mint condition.
