Big enameled glass Art Deco dresser or perfume bottle in mint condition. The ball shaped bottle is decorated with swirling crossing lines of white and black with green, red, yellow & blue dots gracing each diamond shaped area created by the lines and with a large white enamel circle at the apex of the stopper. There's a wavy white enamel line around the neck. Both the stopper and base are marked with a "17" done European style with the line across the "7", so it's of Continental origin probably France or Germany. The stopper is solid glass like a large marble and the shaft (as well as the inside of the neck) is frosted. 6 1/4" tall and approx 4" across at the widest. No chips or other damage and no losses to the enameling. Probably dates to circa 1930. A lovely and happy example of Art Deco design.
