Vintage Folk Art carved pine bust of an African American man, signed JLC on the side of the base. Carved in a primitive but evocative style, it stands just over 5" tall and the base measures 3" by 2 3/8". In excellent condition with minor wear as expected with age. The piece was never painted or varnished and the wood has mellowed to an attractive amber color.
