Rare & unusual porcelain vase with Art Nouveau stylized clover decoration. Wonderful design with the flowers, with their delicate shaded colors, 'marching' across the top with their fragile stems curving down to the detailed triple leaves at the base. The band near the top with the flowers actually has the design molded in the porcelain giving a light-catching texture to the flowers. Marked with a somewhat blurred but recognizable blue underglaze scepter mark of the Royal Porcelain Factory in Berlin (German: Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin or KPM) and dating to circa 1900. The only other mark is an incised number 9246. The foot ring is ground which is another characteristic of this maker. Mint condition. Stands 7.25" tall. KPM Art Nouveau items are scarce and very desirable.
