Scarce leather souvenir purse with braided handle and brass frame and closure, fully lined in fabric with pockets and compartments. In excellent condition free of damage or repairs. The front with "WORLD'S FAIR 1904" and a view of the Cascades. Measures 6.5" wide and 4" high not including the handle. Light wear to the leather and age darkening to the interior cloth, brass with original unpolished patina. A nice example. A nearly identical purse is shown on page 264 of Robert Hendershott's excellent 1994 reference "1904 St Louis World's Fair Mementos & Memorabilia".
