This listing is for an EXTREMELY VERY RARE Bohemian secessionist Art Nouveau crackle glass jug / pitcher designed by Koloman Moser. Attributed to Johann Loetz Witze. If you search hard you might be lucky to find one in clear glass but it will be very difficult to find one in green uranium glass. It dates circa 1903-1909.

There is no pontil on this piece because it was top blown.

It is called Bohemian Craquelle, finished in the classic Moosgrun Krokodile (Moss Green Crocodile) finish or the Kristall Krokodil color.Actually, this gem qualifies as Ultra Rare Moosgrün Verlaufend Engoptisch (continuous gradient (relief) optic) pattern. The handle radius will vary from pitcher to pitcher, and the rim features the traditional Bohemian flush ground, short radius spout. It is written that this pitcher was designed by Koloman Moser ca. 1903-1904. However, new documentation has shown that it may have designed by Marie Kirschner (see Loetz/Series II by Jitka Lnenickova).

These pitchers were made is several heights: 5 1/8", 6", 7", 7 7/8", and 8 3/4". This one measures 7 7/8" tall x 5 1/4" wide.
