This listing is for a hard to find "DOUBLE" MATCHED PAIR of Victorian Art.
The chromolithographs are a matching pair and so are the frames. One chromolithograph shows a trapper who caught a poacher taking his rabbit. The other lithograph shows the hunter resetting his snare.
Each deep walnut shadow box frame has a gold insert layer. Frames are solid and ready to hang. They are original to the prints. This grouping does not have glass. Back then it was done this way on purpose so that the desired effect was to have them look like a painting.
Each frame measures 20" x 16 3/4" x 2".
They are signed by the artist.
Frame and gold show slight wear from handling. They are 150 years old.
White in photos from flash. Remember that you are looking at very old items that were used. Examine photos carefully to add to description. Ask questions before purchase. Email shipping questions. We have Layaway.. Items listed weekly. ENJOY!!
