This listing is for an authentic VICTORIAN Cased and Spatter Glass "End of the Day" Basket. English Victorian Art Glass. Entirely hand blown. Hand applied handle.

Gorgeous features include a raised rib swirled rim. The exterior of the basket is decorated with fused glass colored in pinks, reds, yellows and greens. The cased glass is milk white on interior with deep ruffled rim. The handle has the stripes of matching colors with raised and pulled thorns like you would find on a limb.

Dates circa 1870-1890's.

Indented polished pontil.

Basket itself stands 3 1/2" tall. The basket including the handle stands 6'' tall and is 5 1/4" x 4 3/4" wide.

It is in excellent condition. Any white in the photos is from my camera flash. Remember it is an antique item that were used. Please examine the photos very carefully to add to my description. Ask all needed questions before purchase.
