This listing is for TWO miniature oil lamp / miniature kerosene lamp / night light. They are both hand painted.
Date circa 1890-1900. Both brass burners use a flat wick. Great little Victorian works of art.
TWO LAMPS FOR ONE PRICE.
One was made by the Consolidated Glass Company in Coraopolis, PA. It is decorated in their Cosmos Pattern. It has its original brass Acorn Nutmeg burner. The lamp itself measures 3 1/4" tall and 3 1/2" wide. It is 5 1/4" tall to the top of the brass burner. The burner is 1 1/8" wide. It is made of molded milk glass. The base is marked with what appears to be an impressed 2.
The second glass lamp was made by Dithridge and Company in Pittsburgh, PA. It has its original brass CROWN burner. The lamp itself measures 3 1/2" tall and 3 5/8" wide. It is 4 7/8" tall to the top of the brass burner. The burner is 1 1/2" wide. It is made of milk glass. The base is marked with what appears to be an impressed capital S.
They are is great antique condition. Both need a good cleaning. Enameled painted is slightly worn off. Both have the expected straw marks and base wear. Any white in the photos is from my camera flash. As with all antique glass, you will see signs of use. Please examine the photos very carefully to add to my description. Ask all needed questions before purchase.
