MAGNIFICENT RARE PIECE!
This listing is for a magnificent Moser single horn Epergne in emerald green glass with applied gold gilding.
Dates circa 1885. Green was Moser's favorite color to work with during this period.
An Epergne is a table centerpiece, which can have a large central bowl and a central stem or branches. It was used to display sweetmeats.
Gold enamel overlay. The raised gold work is intricate and exquisite.
Hand blown, wheel cut and hand polished.
This work of art measures 12" tall and the bowl is 8 3/4" wide.
It is in excellent antique condition. Please see the photos for further clarification on condition. There is very minor wear to some of the gold through the years. Any white in the photos is from my camera flash. Remember that you are looking at an antique item that was used. Ask all needed questions before purchase.
