This 1960s Pearl and Sapphire ring in 14k yellow gold will make your heart beat a little faster. It has an elegance with just the right touch of old Hollywood Glamour. It is a size 6.75 and can be resized by your jeweler.
The pearls on this ring are lustrous white Akoya cultured pearls measuring 5mm in size. The have good shape (matching rounds) and are Grade A in quality. The pearls are separated by four natural sapphires measuring 2.5mm (.09 carats each) for a total of .36 carats of sapphires. The sapphires have beautiful color, a rich blue and are all four prong set.
The ring setting is a good size measuring 7/8" north to south and east to west. The setting is crafted of 14k yellow gold and it is heavier than most women's rings we see with a 7.4 gram weight (including the stones/pearls). It is marked 14k inside the band and has been safely tested to be so. The gold is bright, buttery and highly polished. It is in wonderful estate condition all the way around.
They just don't make them like this anymore. It will come in a presentation box for you or to gift.
