This Edwardian signet ring is check mate! And the perfect love token.
Beautifully detailed with a graphic square pattern motif that has been chased into the domed mount and shank of the ring utilizing a relief technique that creates wonderful depth and dimension. The graphic details are further enhanced by the color of gold - a rich apricot hue that captures the light at every turn.
Making it an ideal gift or one-of-a-kind wedding band since the mount has yet to be engraved - allowing for the ring to be personalized by the giver or wearer. Adding to this ring's beauty is it's impressive weight - 5.7 grams (3.7 dwt). Ring measures 1/4" north / south on the finger.
US ring size 6. The ring is stamped 10k for 10 karat gold - please see photos for reference. There are scratches to the ring's surface, but this to be expected due to the age of the ring and in no way deters from it's history or beauty. The mount can easily be buffed prior to engraving removing any surface scratches.
