The Victorians had a knack for creating intricate love tokens and this one perfectly personifies the romance of this period. A true love token for the ages!

Crafted from a rich 10k coppery yellow gold - this pendant, once a brooch has beautifully cutout monogramed letters "GHS" - each letter entwined with the other. The letters are stunningly chased - each with an unique detail. On either side of the pendant are chased orange blossoms - symbolizing "everlasting love".

Added to the back of the pendant's 17" 14k yellow gold chain is a '96 charm (for 1896) that hung on a chain beside the original pin.

Pendant measures 7/8" in diameter. Weight of necklace is 3.7 grams (dwt 2.4). Metal is not stamped, but the pendant tests 10 karat and chain tests 14 karat yellow gold. Please also note that there are some back surface scratches to the pendant, which are not visible when the necklace is worn since the pendant will not flip, preventing the scratches from ever being seen.
