The craftsmanship of this 18k yellow gold Victorian bow is truly impeccable - from the stunning way the graduating cabochon robins egg turquoise has been inlaid into the piece. Beautifully articulating the piece's curves and details. Adding a finishing touch is the pearl floral details of two branches and a flower. The flower is an orange blossom symbolizing "everlasting love" and the branches symbolize "roots". But it doesn't end there... In-between both ribbons is a pearl and turquoise pendulum that sways gently as one moves. The piece is completed by the contrasting fiery 18k yellow gold to the turquoise and pearls.
Then there is the size of the piece that makes it truly striking and a one-of-a-kind statement piece. The bow measures 1 1/8" across by 1" long and hangs on an 18k chain allowing for it to be worn at 16", 17" or 18" - giving it versatility and the ability to worn alone or layered with other pieces.
The weight of the piece is 7.1 grams (4.5 dwt). Please note that the Victorian turquoise and pearl pendant was once a brooch that has now been seamlessly converted to a necklace. As a result there are some imperfections to the back of the pendant, which are not evident when worn since the pendent does not flip due to the way the it has been set. Metal is not stamped, but tests both 18 karat yellow gold for both pendant and chain.
