Most Navajo pearls have geometric stamped designs on them but this extraordinary strand features lizards. Each handmade bead has a pair of lizards on each side of the bead, even on the smallest beads at the back.

SIZE: 16" long. The largest bead in the center is 1/2" diameter. The beads graduate in size down to 5/16" in the back.

MARKS: there is a triangular plaque at the back with "Sterling" and a maker's mark of an arched cat.

CONDITION: excellent vintage condition. The clasp is unlike those typically used on native American jewelry suggesting that the necklace may have been restrung at some point.
