A pair of hummingbirds sips from a bell-shaped flower in this marvelous Hopi overlay cuff by Emery Holmes. The hummingbirds are flanked by a pair of figures wearing Kachina masks. The overlay work on this cuff is very finely crafted and there is additional texturing of the silver on the oxidized underlayer. Emery Holmes is an award-winning Hopi jeweler who has been working since the mid-1970's. The cuff is constructed of sterling silver.
SIZE: 1-7/16" wide. This cuff is for a small to smallish/medium wrist. The interior of the cuff is 2-1/4" across x 1-3/4". The opening at the back is 7/8".
MARKS: a conjoined "EH", the maker's mark for Emery Holmes.
AGE: late 20th century
CONDITION: very good vintage condition with minor scuffing of the silver.
