The pink tourmaline stones in this luminous Arts and Crafts necklace simply glow. The cabochons are set in silver collets and are embellished with wirework whorls and clusters of small silver dots. The pendant is articulated with a bottom drop and is suspended from its original chain with tube clasp. An example of this design can be seen in "Warman's Jewelry, 2nd Edition" by the late, great, Christie Romero. I've included a photo of the page in the book. According to Romero the pendant is English in origin.
SIZE: pendant is 2" long x 1-1/8" wide. It is suspended from its original 16" long chain.
MARKS: none. The silver acid tests as sterling.
AGE: circa 1900-1910
