A favorite of travelers to Asian countries is to have a garment specially made for them. You go into a room and have all your measurements taken, pick out the fabric you want and make an appointment to come back the next day and your garments are ready for you to pick up and go. This is one of those outfits from the 1950’s when the original owner traveled to China. The two piece dress and long skirt has a pleated belt to wear or not. The dress is sleeveless, fitted waist, fancy pleats at the bottom, a high neck with stand up collar and fancy piping also key hole opening and a full length metal zipper in back. The skirt is long with fancy pleats on the bottom sides. There is a back metal zipper. The fabric is a beautiful aqua background and yellow design with the same color on the back of the fabric.
