Staffordshire, Pearlware, recumbant fawn with Bocage, made in England, circa 1880-1910. The reclining brown fawn with yellow spots is resting on a shaped hollow base with bocage behind. This is a flat back that was typically displayed on a mantel. The colors are vivid and the face well painted. The entire piece, including inside is glazed. The figure measures 4.5 inches high, 4 inches wide and 2 inches front to back. There is some minor wear to leaf tips and nose paint but no other noted damage. No chips, cracks or repairs.
