An enchanting late Georgian-early Victorian solitaire diamond engagement ring, in 14Kt gold, Europe, circa the 1800s-1850s.
The beautiful filigree setting has been expertly crafted out of 14 karat yellow gold and been bezel set with a close-backed pear-shaped rose-cut diamond totaling, approximately, 1.51 carats.
The ring is in excellent antique condition showing expected signs of wear. It weighs, approximately, 2.60 grams and is US ring size 7 (UK ring size N 1/2). The raised center of the ring measures 0.35 inches (0.9) wide by 0.26 inches (0.65 cm) tall. It is unmarked and tested positive for 14K gold.
