Up for sale is a really nice old mourning pin. It is not the more common braided hair pin -- for this one someone paid to have a miniature porcelain painting done of their loved one. It says In Memory Of on the frame. Unfortunately don't know the identity of the beautiful girl. I believe this is gold plate because the gold is wearing off around the portrait. The pin is about 1 3/8" high and about 1 1/8" across.
