Up for sale is a wonderful, early German crib that swings freely back and forth. It is made from soft lead. There is gold paint on the framing, a red flower or berry in the mouth of the little bird that is swooping down. There is also some gold or slightly greenish paint on the upper part of the cradle/basket but it is kind of hard to see in the photos. I was told this was made in Germany circa 1880-1910. It measures 2 3/4" high and appears to be in very nice shape! The hanging cradle part is only 1 1/4" long - I was going to put a little doll in there for the buyer but I can't find one that I have that is small enough to fit!
