Up for sale is a handpainted limoges cup and saucer. This is a small espresso size. My research on this shows that the mark is Bawo & Dotter and dates between 1884-1914. They were a New York based company that had a factory in Limoges France. The scene is of two women, one appears to have a kite and is unwinding the string. The other lady is seated and is feeding chickens. The cup is 2" tall and the saucer about 3 3/4"across. No damage other than if you look at the pictures you can see some areas on the gold gilding around the saucer that have some areas that are missing a layer of the gilding, but there is still gold there, I am not sure how to explain, please see the pics. You can't see it if you are just casually viewing the piece.
I also have a matching vase and I am willing to negotiate the price and will combine shipping!
