Up for sale is a wonderful very old plaque from a German kitchen. It has four porcelain plaques on it and corresponding hooks to hang your towels. The German on the plaques roughly translates as follows: messertuch (knife cloth); handtuch (hand cloth); glasertuch (glass cloth; and tellertuch (dish cloth). Apparently you need to keep track of what towel is used for what purpose. The towel hanger is about 14" wide and 3 1/2" tall. Each little plaque is about 2 1/2" across.
There is age commensurate wear on the wood, one of the plaques (handtuch) has a repair at each end where the screws are, the other three plaques are fine.
