Up for sale is a matching set of wooden eggs from Germany. The larger is about 6" long and the smaller one is about 2 1/2" and has a little spool inside for thread and a little thimble on top. They are each decorated with decals such as flowers, butterflies, birds and the small one has little various animals. There is obvious wear, especially on the ends of the eggs where the decal overlay is worn off.

The large egg has a crack on the smaller piece that goes halfway up. Would be an easy repair I think.

These would be great for a sewing collector as I think the larger egg may have been a darning egg, or just put them in an Easter display!
