Up for sale is an English 18th century George III Battersea Bilston egg shaped enamel pill, snuff or patch box. The box is 2 1/4 inch high, and 1 3/4 inches wide. The box is robin's egg blue on the exterior with maroon flowers decorating the outside of the box. The interior is white.

The piece is in fantastic condition. There are some teeny speckles done in the making in the enamel on the pointy end of the egg and the hinge is detached on one side and needs to be re-soldered. This is a very rare, hard to find item and I am pricing it accordingly.
