Up for sale is a sweet Armand Marseille bisque head baby doll marked Germany A M 351.14. She has a solid-dome painted bisque socket head, brown sleep eyes that are sticking in the mostly opened position, painted black hair, open mouth with two lower teeth, jointed brown composition baby body. She is wearing a white cotton christening gown that is in great shape, one small stain that might wash out, I didn't try. This rare doll has a rich, dark complexion, good original body with original finish - some crackling as shown, there is surface paint flaked off on right ear area which a bonnet could easily cover or a skilled doll restoration expert could take care of. There are a few spots on the painted hair that appear slightly shinier than the other areas, and I don't know if that is just an anomaly or if perhaps the paint had some slight touch up. Her eyes This cute little doll is about 15" long.
