This attractive set could be used for juice or as barware. It is amber with an applied black glass handle. I have seen one other set that carried a label that read "Czecho-Slovakia." At first look one might want to describe the set as "threaded"; however the "threading" is not ribbons of glass applied over the form. It would be better described as spirals or swirls "raked" into the glass.
The pitcher stands nearly 5" tall with a 4" rim diameter. The glasses stand 2 3/4" high and have a 2" rim diameter. The pitcher holds 34 oz. and the glasses hold 5 oz. The pitcher has a ground and polished pontil; the glasses have patterned bases.
There are no chips, cracks, or repairs, but one glass has a black spot imbedded in the glass from the manufacturing process.
