Antique Daguerreotype Portrait of a Lovely Young Lady Mid 1800s

One can tell this was a well-loved and cared for Historical Antique Daguerreotype Portrait. As it is in very good condition. The Portrait
is of a lovely young lady, well-poised with a somewhat typical serious look that was of that Era. Her curly hair is pulled back on one side and the other side hangs in a somewhat braid. She is dressed in a Black Dress trimmed in White Lace on the collar. The Photograph is encased in a gold brass decorative mat within a pane, to preserve the Portrait.

The inside, on the left side, is rich in color, with luxurious Red Velvet lining with a very decorative mat. In very good condition. The Black embossed case is highly detailed and in solid and very good condition. Intact with no splits to the wood frame.. Very rare to find one of this age and condition.

This would make a fine addition to your Antique collection of historical memorabilia.
