Rare European Antique 18K Rose Gold Platinum .40pt Round Diamond Ring

Here we have for your consideration a Rare European 18K Rose Gold Claw Style Ring that centers with a .40pt Round Diamond in a Platinum Bezel. The characteristics of the Diamond, Clarity I-3 and Color K. Old however still Sparkles. Open Claw with ribbed shoulders. Makes this a very sought after ring. The Ring is Stamped not on the inside as is done today, but on the outside of ring towards the back which was done back in that era. Mid 1800's to early 1900's. is my best estimation. There are two stamps a type of Family Crest with the number 56 and AO. In the pictures it is difficult to completely see clearly as the mirror polish shows refection of props. So unusual to find these rings of this era that is in well loved condition. The Shank measures 2.5mm. The face of the Ring measures 8.5mm. Size 8 3/4 and can be easily sized upon your request.
