Wonderful Set of 2 Accessocraft Pin fresh from a Florida Estate.
These were produced during World War ll by Accessocraft and sold to raise money to support the war effort.
Both pins feature a Royal Crown over a Lion with the words "Dieu et mon Droit" meaning "God and My Right"; the motto of the British Royal Crest. They both feature red white and blue enamel as a sign of Patriotism.
They are signed on reverse Accessocraft Official B.W.R.S. which stands for: “British War Relief Society Brooch - Bundles For Britain", it was designed by Robert R. Appleby in 1940. They are mentioned in the Brunialti Jewelry Guide on page 61 as a "Tribute to America".
Very Rare to find them these days and especially the set of 2 together. Great Historical pieces from the second World War.
Larger one measures approx 1 3/4" x 1 3/4". Smaller measures 1 1/4" x 3/4".
