A delightful stylized cartoon character Art Deco Liquor Decanter by Wm. Goebel Porzellan Fabrik circa 1930's. It is of a bass player, who from the look of his nose, he has been imbibing in his own liquor. He is in great vintage condition with no chips, cracking or crazing. He is 10.5" tall by 4" wide by 4.5" deep. On the bottom is the Goebel double crown trade mark with the K l 828 mold number. According to the estate I purchased this item from, it was a commercial bottle that contained liquor from Benoit Serres Distilleries, Toulouse France. Research has not substantiated this information. Part of the cork remains in the bottle.
