A rare Art Deco porcelain liquor decanter circa 1930's. There isn't much information out there on this type of decanter. What I've researched is that they were marketed as commercial bottles with images popular of the day to sell popular European liquors to the consumer. Some included individual shot glasses. This bellhop is holding a champagne bucket to a presumed hotel guest containing a single shot glass. He is skillfully modeled with a very expressive face and stance. He measures 10.5" tall by 6.25"wide by 3.5" deep. Condition issues are: The face has minor crazing, the bottom underside has a 4.5" fissure Which means it can't function as a decanter. It is a rare example of commercial Art Deco liquor bottle and would grace any home bar or curio cabinet.
