A small mid-19th Century porcelain Famille Rose spice/herb jar with lid. On the lid are delicately enameled figures of boys dancing and waving branches; on the jar is a depiction of a young girl, riding a lion, waving a fly whisk. Measurements are 3" tall by 2" at the widest point. There is wear to the gold that was applied to the lid handle, otherwise, condition is very good with no chips, cracks or repairs. The price is for one jar I have 6 available. As all are hand-thrown and hand-painted, no two are exactly alike.
