Hawkes brilliant cut crystal. A set of six cordial glasses produced between 1945-1962 in the hard-to-find "Satin Iris" pattern with "HAWKES" acid etched on the base of 5 of the glasses. Each glass is in nice condition with minor surface wear on the bottom, typical with glassware of this age. One glass has a 1/4" chip on the bottom which does not show when viewed from the top. another glass has a fleabite on the underside corner and a 1/8"chip on the side of the square base (all of these flaws can be remedied by a professional glass grinder. Five are 5 1/8" tall by 2.5" diameter, the 6th is 5" tall. The square base is 2 3/8" by 2 3/8".
