Dorothy looks like Actress Dorothy Lamour, the 1940's actress from New Orleans. Her head is composition and her arms and legs are hard plastic. Her face was badly crazed and required some work to get it smooth. Some of her imperfections can be seen on closer inspection, but she displays nicely. She was probably one of the "Carnival prize dolls" with a composition head and and hard plastic arms and feet. There is some wear to the paint on the hands and feet. She is wearing a black wig, has human hair eyelashes and a new dress. The body is original and has some staining. She measures 26" high and sports a pair of period rhinestone paste dress clips.
