Gouache Rendering of an Art Deco Cinema Lobby C. 1920's

A wonderful gouache painting on illustration board of an Art Deco Cinema Lobby signed on the lower corner "Dworkin" This is one of two paintings that were used to propose a decorating and color scheme for one of the grand movie houses in the Los Angeles, California area. I purchased this painting in Los Angeles in the mid-1970's. I tried to research the artist's history and found a registered watercolor artist by that name in Northern California. I am not certain he is the same person. This is framed in a heavy, but slightly worn, silver aluminum gallery frame from the 1970's. Image is: 17.75" by 8.25". frame size: 24.25" by 15.25".
