I am a huge fan of Victorian Etruscan revival style earrings. I think they look great with today's fashion. They are terrific with your daytime fashions but go easily into night if you need to dress up for a special occasion. These versatile dangles, circa mid to late 1800's, are made from 14kt yellow gold with accents of tiny Persian turquoise beads, one at the post and 4 on the plaque of the earring. There is wonderful texturing and detail on the body of the earring including a smooth half circle of gold, curly gold design and scalloped edges along the lower section of the hanging plaque.
You will find a 14kt rectangular cartouche on the back of the dangle. The total length of the earring is about 7/8 inch long and a little over 1/2 inch across the widest area near the bottom. Overall condition is very good estate. The bezel set turquoise beads do show some wear on the top and each beads show different wear.
