Offered for sale are some antique dangle earrings from the late 19th century Victorian era. The body of the earring is done in yellow gold filled long oval enamel design. They have a turquoise enamel background with little blue and pink roses and flowers. There is a sweet filigree design at the bottom also done in gold fill. The posts were probably added at a later date because they test positive for 14kt yellow gold. They are in the shape of a clam shell, so cute. The posts in the back of each shell dips down. It looks like they may have been screw backs at one time and were turned into posts. They work perfectly fine as they are and are a very comfortable wear. The body of the earring is also hollowed out so they are not heavy to wear.
Overall condition is very good with minor wear to the enamel and metal due to age. The overall measurements are 1-1/8" long by 3/8" wide.
Thank you for considering these lovely old beauties!
