For sale is a gorgeous circle pin, circa 1930-1940's, done in rich 14kt yellow gold, cultured pearls and white diamond accents. The pin is done in a swirl leaf or branch design with a lovely tousled ribbon at the top. Inside the leaf design is a sweet casually laid circle of lovely white cultured pearls that start out small at the bottom, about 3mm across, and end up larger towards the top, about 5mm across. Meeting the larger cultured pearls in the center are 2 little sparkly white diamonds. One diamond is much smaller than the other, about 1.5 point to 3 points.
Overall condition is very good. There is some slight wear to the metal due to age, especially on the subtle texturing on the ribbon. The pearls are lovely and creamy, the tiny diamonds are good and serve the purpose of providing a little glint and the pin mechanism works. The smaller of the two diamonds appears to set a little deeper and has a greyer tone than the larger diamond. Total gram weight is 8.3 grams. It measures approximately 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" across.
I call these my elegant lady pins. Wear on a jacket lapel or at the should on a dress or sweater, very sweet! I think this would be a sweet bridal pin as well for something old. Thank you for looking!
